2nd generation, "Kazeshirasu" wooden windmill

From May 25th to May 31st, there was a joint event with local artists, and we exhibited the second generation of "Kazeshirasu'' there.
We have fixed some aspects of the design that we did not like compared to the first generation.
The first one is the inner ring. The first generation had a diameter of about 30mm.
However, the inner ring itself was so small that it felt strange. If you are interested, please compare. I also shortened the length of the wings.
I know I shouldn't say this, but the first generation felt like it was just made by combining things I had on hand. The reason why this happened is that I originally created "Kazeshirasu'' with the intention of submitting it to a craft exhibition in Takaoka City, but I didn't really get into it, and as I was dawdling, the deadline approached. I ended up making it in a hurry, so the result was undeniably haphazard.
Still, I was selected, so it was good, but regardless of the design, I guess people bought my idea.
So, I was thinking of changing it when exhibiting at a joint event.

The pedestal was also changed. At first glance, this pedestal looks like it's just a frame made of boards cut at 45 degrees, but there's an iron plate inside. This is because if it does not have a certain amount of weight, it may be blown away when the wind blows it.
In fact, when I placed it on the veranda in the past, it fell onto the surface and the wing was damaged. Windmills are blown away by the wind, so it's not even a joke.
So it's heavier than it looks.
...That's good, but the processing time was quite troublesome. In order to improve this point, I tried changing the shape to three boards of the same thickness glued together.
As a result, it seems that there is no effect of reducing man-hours...
We still need to consider this.
