From May 25th to May 31st, there was a joint event with local artists, and we exhibited the second generation of \"Kazeshirasu'' there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have fixed some aspects of the design that we did not like compared to the first generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first one is the inner ring. The first generation had a diameter of about 30mm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the inner ring itself was so small that it felt strange. If you are interested, please compare. I also shortened the length of the wings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I know I shouldn't say this, but the first generation felt like it was just made by combining things I had on hand. The reason why this happened is that I originally created \"Kazeshirasu'' with the intention of submitting it to a craft exhibition in Takaoka City, but I didn't really get into it, and as I was dawdling, the deadline approached. I ended up making it in a hurry, so the result was undeniably haphazard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still, I was selected, so it was good, but regardless of the design, I guess people bought my idea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, I was thinking of changing it when exhibiting at a joint event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pedestal was also changed. At first glance, this pedestal looks like it's just a frame made of boards cut at 45 degrees, but there's an iron plate inside. This is because if it does not have a certain amount of weight, it may be blown away when the wind blows it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In fact, when I placed it on the veranda in the past, it fell onto the surface and the wing was damaged. Windmills are blown away by the wind, so it's not even a joke. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So it's heavier than it looks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

...That's good, but the processing time was quite troublesome. In order to improve this point, I tried changing the shape to three boards of the same thickness glued together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result, it seems that there is no effect of reducing man-hours... <\/p>\n\n\n\n
